The treatment can be uncomfortable, however, local anaesthetic mixed in with the Aqualyx to minimise this discomfort.
Aqualyx is a non-surgical treatment used to reduce localised, stubborn fat deposits. Aqualyx is injected directly into the fat tissue via thin, flexible cannulas. There will be a little discomfort but this is minimised by including a local anaesthetic.
Areas such as the chin, stomach, outer and inner thighs, hips, knees etc can be treated with Aqualyx.
How many treatments are required?
The amount of treatments vary according to the amount of fat to be reduced and the number of areas. Plus everyone reacts slightly differently to the treatment so this will need to be monitored and assessed on an ongoing basis. On average most people will need around 3 to 6 appointments with 3-week intervals.
For 12 hours you will need to avoid any cosmetic products on the treated areas as well as all direct sources of heat and radiation such as sunlight, UV-radiation, and saunas for instance. Exercise can be resumed after 7 days. It’s important to eat healthily to prevent the released fatty acids being stored once again as fat in another area of the body.
A reduction can be noticed after just one treatment, however we recommend 3-6 sessions to see the best results. The speed at which results are seen will vary from patient to patient.
If you are not keen on surgical procedures such as Vaser Lipo and if you don’t have have large amounts of fat to remove, then this could be the treatment for you! We treat patients from 18 years to 60 years of age, subject of course to a full assessment and medical history. The treatment is not suitable for pregnant women or women who are breast-feeding, neither is it to be used as a weight loss method; it is not appropriate for overweight or obese patients. Aqualyx is also not recommended for someone suffering from an acute or chronic skin disease in the areas to be treated, nor is it advised for anyone who is diabetic.
You can typically expect a little bruising, swelling and redness but this should dissipate after a few days.
If the treatment is performed by a specialist who has the relevant training and experience then it is a safe treatment. Aqualyx is the only product available for Aqualysis with a registered medical CE mark.
For the first three to four days, there will be some discomfort and so it is usually a good idea to just rest and take it easy for the first few days. But after that, there is minimal down time.
The fat won’t come back as long as you maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Aqualyx is designed for localised ares of fat which are more stubborn and difficult to get rid of if you’re maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle. So if there are multiple areas that need treating then it may be worth a surgical opinion.
Aqualyx is designed to absorb subcutaneous fat – the more superficial areas of fat. It won’t dissolve internal (visceral) fat and is not designed to do so.
Clients can cancel or reschedule appointments at any time with a minimum of 48 hours notice before the appointment time; otherwise, a fee will be charged. To cancel or reschedule, please email, or text/call us. Please respect the time that is reserved just for YOU.

Aqualyx Injections are a non-surgical treatment used to reduce localised, stubborn fat deposits. It involves injections with deoxycholic acid, a natural substance which is produced in the gut to liquefy and digest fat. The injections liquefy the fat cells, and the released fatty acids are eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system. It is a safe and minimally invasive treatment for fat reduction, for those who are not suitable or do not wish to undergo surgery.
Aqualyx helps with those areas that are resistant to diet or exercise, but it is not to be sought as a replacement for a healthy lifestyle. In fact it’s important to eat well and exercise in order to maintain the results.
Developed by renowned aesthetic surgeon the late Professor Motolese, Aqualyx has been available internationally since 2009, and is growing in popularity day by day.

Areas That Can be Treated with Aqualyx
Aqualyx can be used to treat areas of the body such as:

- Abdomen
- Flanks aka love handles
- Outer thighs (such as ‘saddle bags’)
- Banana roll (i.e. between the lower buttocks and upper thighs)
- Knees
The Aqualyx Treatment
During consultation, the specialist will review your detailed medical history and advise whether an Aqualyx treatment is appropriate for you. Most people are keen to get treated as soon as possible, and we are usually able to do the treatment on the same day as your consultation if you wish to proceed.
The treatment is performed by a clinical specialist, who uses specially designed long flexible cannulas to inject the areas being treated. Generally an anaesthetic solution is added prior to injection to make the treatment more comfortable.
We use only brand-name, gold standard products as manufactured and approved for use in the UK. Beware of cut-price treatments that may compromise on this aspect. Here in SIMONE Clinic, we take a full hour for the Aqualyx treatments which are administered by qualified/experienced clinicians.
Our price for Aqualyx treatments range start from £299 per session. During your free consultation, the specialist will assess the recommended vials and confirm the price to you. You can spread the cost of any treatment over three months.

Aqualyx Review - Can A Sugar-Based Substance Be Helpful?
The results of my research into Aqualyx were somewhat surprising. We at DietSpotlight did one of our intensive reviews, focusing on the ingredients, side effects, clinical studies and customer-service quality. Plus we read countless user comments and responses from all over the internet. Lastly, we summed up all of the information to give you the bottom line.
Aqualyx
Aqualyx is an injectable solution that dissolves small pockets of unwanted fat. It's not yet approved by the FDA for use in the U.S. but is widely used in Europe. It's primarily intended to treat a double chin-and while it can be used on larger areas, it's not the treatment of choice, since liposuction can deliver much more dramatic results in one treatment.
