Two ads banned for perpetuating harmful gender stereotypes

When Tiger Woods won his fourth Masters Tournament in nine years in 2005 by the age of 29, the question wasn’t whether he’d equal Jack Nicklaus’ total of six green jackets — but how many more would he win. The left-hander, a four-star prospect from Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Ga., announced his pick Saturday night, choosing the Buckeyes over finalists Alabama, find 3rd Grade homeschool tutor Arkansas, Clemson, Miami, Oregon and Texas A&M. With the new Shanghai plant, 5th Grade reading specialist Tesla will take advantage of China’s world leading battery supply chain to ramp up output and lower costs of its Megapack lithium-ion battery units to meet rising demand of energy storage globally as the world shifts to use more renewable energy.

“I am disappointed to have to WD this morning due to reaggravating my plantar fasciitis,” Woods posted to Twitter. “Thank you to the fans and to @TheMasters who have shown me so much love and support. Good luck to the players today!” Shelton then took leads of 4-2 and 5-3 before finishing off Fritz for the early advantage. But Fritz battled back, never giving up his serve again for the remainder of the match as he clawed his way to the next round.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) said the ad repeatedly cut to images of only men, who were both prominent and central to the ad’s message of opportunity and excellence across multiple desirable career paths. Some eight viewers complained that the ad perpetuated harmful gender stereotypes by depicting men in roles that were stereotypically male and implying that it was only men who were interested in technology and computers. But after personal turmoil and a bevy of injuries set in, Woods didn’t claim his fifth Masters until 2019, capturing the win in a gripping final round in which some of the best players of the next generation of golf — Francesco Molinari, Patrick Cantlay, Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele and Brooks Koepka — each held a share of the lead.

He has undergone multiple surgeries. And while he has said he knows he can’t play an extended schedule and had planned to play in the majors and selected tournaments, it isn’t a sure thing that he’ll be ready to tee it up at the PGA Championship May 18-21 at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y. The poster ad for 5th PeoplePerHour, an online platform giving businesses access to freelancers, seen on the London Underground in November, featured an image of a woman and the text: “You do the girl boss thing.

We’ll do the SEO thing,” referring to search engine optimisation. Tesla Inc is opening a factory in Shanghai, capable of producing ten thousand Megapack energy product per year, to supplement output of Megapack factory in California, the company said in a tweet on Sunday. “Although the guidance did not prohibit ads from featuring only one gender, we considered that because the ad strongly implied only men could excel in the specialisms and roles depicted we concluded the ad presented gender stereotypes in way that was likely to cause harm and therefore breached the code.
