FAQ

We carry out the treatment using a cannula. This is the safest and most comfortable way of treating the Tear Trough area. The filler we use to treat the tear trough in our clinics also contain an anaesthetic to make the treatment more comfortable and virtually pain-free.

We use a Cannula technique. This is where the Tear Trough Dermal Filler is injected into the Tear Trough via a microcannula. An insertion point is made using a small needle around the cheekbone area so that the microcannula can be fed through. This means that tear trough dermal filler can be injected more precisely and carefully into the delicate area under the eye. The cannula technique allows for less chance of bruising and is generally pain-free. More importantly, the cannula technique is much safer especially around this highly sensitive area.

You should avoid massaging the area for up to five days while the filler is still soft. This will prevent any movement of the filler and will keep the finished result looking perfect. Also no exercise, or treatments on that area.

Appointment times vary, depending on the desired effect, including consultation it will be up to 45 mins.

Yes and no. The gel needs a few days to settle. In the first week after treatment, the hyaluronic acid may shift and look somewhat irregular. During the check-up – two weeks after the treatment – we can correct this if necessary. The hyaluronic acid is slowly broken down after 9 to 15 months.

Should you unfortunately be unsatisfied with the results, then we can easily dissolve (remove) the hyaluronic acid without any residual symptoms.

Usually up to 1ml is enough, we can give a quote if you will want to use more than that.

Clients can cancel or reschedule appointments at any time with a minimum of 48 hours notice before the appointment time; otherwise, a fee will be charged. To cancel or reschedule, please email, or text/call us. Please respect the time that is reserved just for YOU.

Tear Trough Filler

The tear trough is the area between your lower eyelid and cheek, and as we age, we can experience volume loss in this area which can often cause dark circles and hollows under the eyes. This is not an uncommon problem and can be treated easily with tear trough fillers.

Tear trough filler treatment quickly and effectively restores lost volume and reduces dark circles under the eyes. It also reduces fine lines and wrinkles as the dermal fillers will boost collagen production by hydrating from the inside. This treatment will give you natural-looking results with a fresher, less tired-looking appearance.

How do tear trough fillers work?

Tear trough fillers are suitable for people who are concerned about dark circles or wrinkles around their eyes and are looking to restore lost volume. Tear trough filler treatment has the following benefits:

  • Reduces dark circles under the eyes
  • Adds volume and plump hollows under the eyes
  • Rejuvenates tired eyes
  • Boosts collagen production and overall skin quality
  • Reduces lines and wrinkles
  • Quick treatment with instant results
  • No downtime – go straight back to work

I've Tried Everything to Reduce My Chronic Undereye Circles - Here's What Finally Worked

I was lucky to grow up in a loving and prosperous home, though you wouldn't know it from the photographs. Flipping through a family album, you would see, behind my smiles, an unearned world-weariness and an age-inappropriate ennui. There I am, on Christmas morning, age seven, surrounded by presents and parents but appearing, nonetheless, like I've just witnessed a human-rights violation.

9 Things I Wish I Knew Before Getting Undereye Filler

Working in the beauty industry in the age of Instagram has admittedly made me a bit too fixated on my appearance, but it's also taught me how to differentiate between empty marketing and what actually works. The biggest scam of all, in my opinion?
